I buy many products in the USA and bring them with me to Europe. As long as the item, outlet, or power adapter is rated for a 110V/220V AC input, this is not a problem. Most electrical components are rated for both currents, eliminating the need for manufacturers to make separate units of the same product. This is especially true for small and mobile devices when traveling. I have purchased several of these adapters over the years and this is by far the best. Here in Europe most countries use a Schuko plug or an EU plug which has the socket recessed for the plug. The Schuko standard ensures a safe and secure fit with good grounding. I want it to be the world standard. In any case, these adapters fit well into Schuko wall outlets and, as you can see, have slots for both 2-pin and 3-pin US plugs. American plugs connect well and don't wobble, even a 2-pin plug. These adapters are by far the best. Get these when you bring your device to Europe. Make sure your device or socket is 220V capable!
