This is my second lock I have bought from this company. The first stopped working after a year of normal daily use. I bought another one because I really liked it and sure enough there was an extra hole in my fire door that I had already drilled. The exchange went smoothly. Also, I have a broken lock again. I've tried to fix every step in the user guide and it still doesn't crash! The screen shows Lock, but the latch is not locked at all. The door will open every time the handle is turned, regardless of whether the screen shows locked or unlocked. I even made sure pass mode is turned off. I was so happy to use this lock again but I will be returning this item.
