Well designed training wheels will stand up to most adults and are relatively easy to assemble. Remember that screws have a specific purpose and are easy to confuse. The instructions appeared to have been written by someone with poor English skills and are therefore vague at best. The wheels wear out because they are made of a hard material that can only last a few hundred kilometers. The training wheels give the bike a bit of wobble so the rider can learn how to stabilize the bike. Because the wheels are not inflatable tires, these training wheels are not a permanent attachment and are for training purposes to help the rider progress and eliminate the need for supports.
