It's definitely faster loading times.
Pretty fast. I've never timed it, but it's noticeably faster than the stock Makita charger. Not sure how this will affect battery charge cycles, time will tell. Batteries work the same way when charged with a quick charger and a standard charger. Worth it if you need to replace your broken/dead charger.
