Review on Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic 195/60 R15 88T winter by Wiktor Grzankowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

Good tires, very high cross-country ability, braking performance on snow and asphalt is excellent, on ice and packed icy crust - good. Due to the continuous tread pattern, the patency increases, but the sharpness of the reaction decreases. The rubber is very reliable, you feel confident on the road, but there is some impressiveness, cottony reactions at high speeds, the effect of a steam locomotive when the back of the car goes in the right direction with some delay, in general, it’s completely not a driver’s option. More than 140 km / h on asphalt, the roll and the reaction to the side wind increase. He is afraid of rutting, but there are no snow banks between the rows. At the same time, it pulls along loose snow and snow drifts like a tractor. Does not buzz, does not whistle, the spikes do not click even on brand new tires.

Pros
  • Cross-country ability, stability, braking qualities, predictability of reaction
Cons
  • Valkost, some slowness of reaction
