Review on Tri Conderoga Triangular Pencils Wood Cased 22506 by Gelin Battle

Nice to hold but too hard on paper

I'm always on the lookout for my favorite pencil. I recently found a yellow Tri-Conderoga and really liked it. It seemed to fit my fingers perfectly and the quality of the writing was exceptional. I saw these black ones and quickly ordered them without realizing they are a bit too big. The diameter (three meters?) is actually very comfortable for me and I also like the black coating. The large size may cause problems with some sharpeners not accepting them. The fragrant cedar sticks are very pleasant, but I'm not impressed with the writing quality. They seem a bit complicated to me and require more effort on paper than they should. I chose it for the workshop rather than the office as the triangular shape is also ideal for a shop to prevent rolling. So these Tri-Conderogas have a very nice feel, but the graphite is too hard for everyday writing.
