Main installation screw too short.
This is an outdoor fixture made to go on exterior walls that may be textured or not completely flush with junction boxes. The supplied main installation screw does not allow for that. Completely frustrating. Had to go to hardware store to get a screw 3/8 of an inch longer to make it work. They couldn’t just include a slightly longer screw in the box? Cheap. The supplied screw is barely long enough to reach the installation plate even in the best case scenario. Ideally the screw needs to be 1/2 of an inch longer than the one they supply you with in the box.
