Review on Nikon ACULON A211 8248 10x50 Binoculars (Black) by Vinay Upadia ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

There was a lot of reading and looking at the choice of binoculars, there was a prejudice against Roof systems, they say they are much worse than Porro at the same price. What if we take a quality one, then Monarch 7 is ideal. My basic requirements for binoculars: - high-quality, bright, three-dimensional picture - the ability to conduct observations in the dark / city lighting - the weight is not very critical for me, since I don’t plan to carry binoculars for observations from home / in nature with me everywhere - 10x, I wanted exactly the maximum at which you can look handheld without shaking the picture In terms of price / quality, I initially settled on the Action EX 10x50 CF, sometimes I still go fishing. The store managed to compare Aculon A211 10x50, Prostaff 3S 8x42, Action EX 10x50 CF, Sportstar EX 8x25. The Aculon A211 10x50 wasn't as heavy as I expected, being 340 grams heavier than the Prostaff 3S, but I didn't feel much of a difference. If I didn’t know about the volumetric image of Porro systems, and about the aberrations on the sides of cheap Roofs, then I would probably take Prostaff. These shortcomings do not catch the eye, but with a closer look, the Aculon A211 still has a juicier and more voluminous picture. I did not like the Action EX 10x50 CF, the eyecups move when you press the eyebrow, the binoculars themselves are heavier and you can already feel it, the picture is darker than that of Aculon, although there are more bells and whistles. Sportstar EX 8x25 - in general, not bad in terms of mobility, I would take it. As a result, Aculon A211 10x50 turned out to be love at first sight, I liked holding these binoculars, its materials and certainly the image quality and optics, I even liked the eyecups, they do not move out like on Action EX, though Prostaff 3S has better eyecups. I arrived, immediately put the strap on, everything suited me. I enjoy the image quality. Well, a nice bonus is the price of these binoculars. Took for 7590.

Has some pros Very good binoculars, clear quality image, good light transmission even at dusk. Cons below: In my opinion, there are no shortcomings, the cover from bumps and falls, I think, will not protect the optics .

Pros below: Good quality and comfortable binoculars. Has cons: Protective covers do not hold well, but since you carry it in a case, it's okay.
