Review on Universal Professional Replacement Weatherproofing Strip by Kenneth Wood

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It looks like it will work fine.

I recently installed a rubber threshold because of water leaking under the garage door. After the first rain after installation, I noticed that the gasket on the bottom of the door had very flattened out and I realized that many years had passed since it was installed. I bought this item yesterday and it was delivered today! I installed it this afternoon and it looks like it's working fine. I don't see any light under the door at all. I strongly recommend wiping the tracks before installing. I used an old towel for the first wipe, then a brush to remove dirt, then sprayed some canned/compressed air on it. I also soaped the edges (with bar soap) to make it easier to slide. I had to use another person to pull it while I feed it into the caterpillar because you have to make sure it stays folded in a "U" while you feed it. With this little preliminary work and another pair of hands we started. very easy, less than 5 minutes. Take your time, prep, and serve slowly, and you'll find it's a pretty easy setup. Now. Let it Rain!
