Do not open the can to save your life! I miss my TAB GRABBER! I USED IT ALL WRONG! I'm so guilty! This does NOT apply to tabs! This is for opening SCREW CANS! And it works great! Put it under the screw cap and it will release the air in the vacuum seal! After that, the screw cap unscrews EASILY, it is NOT damaged and can be used to reseal the jar! I tested it again after another customer asked if the top would close again. Thank you for your concern! Again: Sorry for the confusion.
