We have two RAD mini bikes. A step over the frame. Because the walk-through frame has a ledge, the clamp brackets on the post have been adjusted so that the short bracket is on top of the long one and therefore will not work with a stepped frame. The shorter of the two posts has a bicycle key lock. The EASY SOLUTION was to first put a shorter post that went all the way down on the step frame. A longer top will hold a tall frame bike. (ie cycling style for boys). This happens in reverse and you lose the ability to lock both bikes in place. But just use a bike lock to attach both to the frame. Works well for us and we are happy with the setup. Very durable in the clutch bracket. Rides well without rubbing the bike frame or body.
