Good for pressing in the top ball joint on 2000 Toyota Tundra but a little difficult to press out. To press out, I mounted the receiver cup under the ball joint, aligning the C-bracket holddown screw with the spindle and the open end of the C-bracket on the receiver cup. I used an impact wrench to pry it out. One of the ball joints had the spindle falling out completely so I just used a flat adapter to finish it off. The other ball joint survived and was fully pushed out. To press in, I used a flat adapter at the bottom with a receiving cup at the top. The impact wrench finished the job. Make sure everything lines up evenly to avoid stuttering. I used 3 pounds. Hit with a hammer to get it working just to make sure the ball joint goes in straight. I had the steering knuckle removed because I was also replacing the lower ball joints, outboard tie rods, and stabilizer bar links. That made the job easier. Also an impact wrench made a big difference but I suppose a good quality socket wrench can help but it will take longer and potentially be more frustrating. Even with an impact wrench, it took some time to fully press the ball joint in. I even thought one was crooked because it took longer to press in than the other. In short, this will get the job done if you have a 2000 Toyota Tundra SR5 Access Cab with a 4.7L V-8 engine.
