Nice although there are no instructions in the manual. Sad! The canvas is very thick, which makes it difficult to pierce the needle. I only work on it in short bursts because my fingers get tired. It's big and I can imagine how tired my hands will be by the time I get to the center and I have to walk back and forth across the canvas to get the needle. You can't put him in a hoop. I could see it confusing for beginners due to the lack of instructions and all the colors and charts for different colors. Also the way they send you the thread is less than desirable. It's looped into a color card holder (nice) but the threads are so long I could see how tangled they were before I got to them. So I need to find a way to shorten them so that doesn't happen. In the meantime I made a second loop or light knot to keep them from tangling. I'm not sure yet if I'll finish this job. It doesn't bring me the joy I got when others did it. Make sure you have really good lighting too.
