Review on Hamilton Beach 46700 Programmable Automatic by Kimberly Marquez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Outstanding high end coffee maker

Hamilton Beach isn't usually the brand I think of when I think 'high end' but here they have made a quality coffee maker that compares to some is the hard hitter in the upscale drip coffee landscape. Sure, it's not one of those wild $700 gadgets that works automatically, but it's a quality machine. It has a small form factor and is extremely aesthetically pleasing. Take the guesswork out of coffee, too, with a great scale that gives you the right measurements for each cup of coffee. There are some downsides. Sometimes this isn't the most intuitive setting and the touch buttons aren't good. "Drop-Stop" is just a basket adjustment. The basket is made of glass. I'm sure it will make the coffee taste better, but I will 100% ruin it. After all, it can only brew 8 cups at a time and brews fairly slowly. That's fine for most people most days, but it might be nice to have a 12-cup coffeemaker. However, if you agree with the paragraph above, you will get a coffee pot that brews aromatic coffee and looks good. on your counter. It has its quirks and flaws, but nothing can detract from the fact that it makes great coffee.
