It seems I have a lot of things that need sharpening from time to time, from small woodworking tools to rough garden tools. For the latter, it is often more convenient to leave the blade in place and use a moving stone or file. Good examples are an ax or a lawn mower blade, and such a rock is very handy. This particular stone has a handy size. It comes in a special bamboo case. I was surprised to see that the case is held in place by magnets. Overall this is a useful product and at this price point it represents good value.
