They work great for me. I have a Garneau Raid helmet and a small to medium head. Because the helmet fits me, the Wind-Blox is a bit longer than the strap, but I was still able to attach it. My helmet is actually a bit more comfortable and snug with the ear cups attached. They don't block 100% of wind noise, but they do block the biggest sound, the piercing wind, which seems to be coming straight into your ear canal. With them, the wind sounds more distant and more like a hum. I wear headphones while riding the bike path and the Wind-Blox makes listening to audio that much easier. This allows me to reduce the volume a lot so that I can also hear outside noises better. The materials make a very robust and high-quality impression. The velcro is strong and the outside feels like soft neoprene.
