It will not support the weight of the wheel unless the wheel is supported by a trailer platform or other supported application. The short screw is too short and the long screw is not screwed in deep enough. I had to use an old Allen head as a spacer. I wanted to install it with a valve stem so I could check the pressure. Maybe the valve stem worked with a short screw, but not what I wanted to do.
