I'm a sysadmin but also a techie at heart and I've been thinking about upgrading my home lab to 10GB but didn't want to break the bank. My switch already had 4 10Gb/s SFP+ ports and I found some old SFP+ network adapters on the network. I already had Cat6 cabling installed in my home office/lab and didn't want to mess around with fiber optic cabling just to connect a 10GB network to my servers. So I searched Revain for a good copper to SFP+ module and came across them. I was skeptical as there weren't many reviews but the ones that did were positive. I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did because now I have 10GB and don't need to spend a lot of extra money to upgrade my home lab. I hooked everything up and it worked like clockwork!
