I think this works great for controlling heaters on 2 separate tanks. What other reviewers obviously haven't noticed is that if you're using both outlets for heating, the first temperature setting is how hot you want it to be (power off), the second setting is when you want the power on (minimum). Temperature) repeat for the 2nd connector. For example, I want both of my tanks to have a maximum temperature of 80°F and a minimum of 75°F. So my first setting should be higher than my second. If I were to use them for cooling, the 1st stage would have to be lower than the 2nd stage. I'll buy another one! Cons: * I wish the temp sensors were thinner with more flexible and thinner wire. *I would love these adhesive pads so I can stick the sensors onto the glass.
