Review on Gates K060866 Micro V Belt by Chris Castro

Have read many good reviews about the Gates brand before and received a free belt wear tool from the company. Let the belt hang overnight to loosen the creases. I installed it this morning. After I removed the old belt, I noticed that the Gates belt was slightly larger than the old Gatorback belt that was on my truck. Normally the old belt should be a bit larger, but I installed the Gates belt. No problem and the pulley was exactly halfway, neither too tight nor too loose. I checked the position of the belt and reinstalled the parts I removed to gain access to the belt. I started the engine and immediately noticed that the engine was quieter. I'm very satisfied and will update the review after the belt has run on my truck for a while.
