People say please not heavy. This thing is a chain beast. I didn't expect it to be so massive and heavy. It hurts to carry around. I usually carry a second backpack just for the chain and lock. The picture can be deceiving. Be sure to check the measurement. The chain is long enough to secure the wheel and frame. The castle is also huge and elegant. Sometimes when I turn the key to open, the lock doesn't open immediately. The metal case also wobbles a bit and has to be tightened with screws. Overall, it's like a solid, heavy-duty chain and lock. It's definitely too much for my $50 bike I bought on Craigslist. If you want to protect your bike, this is for you. Just be prepared for how massive and heavy it is.
