An affordable access point, the system is ideal for a home network as a standalone system. No additional router is needed if this is the only element for wireless communication. The signal is stable and worth buying. Please note that using this device with anything other than a Mikrotik based network may cause difficulties for the user. In fact, if you're a home user looking for a cheap access point and it's going to be the only device that provides routing, this will work. Using it in conjunction with an off-the-shelf home router will only confuse the user. Once set up, this is the tank. In a corporate network, the functionality is on par with more expensive network access. As with other Mikrotik devices, advanced routing protocols (VLAN segregation, OSPF, BGP, etc.) are available, providing various solutions to network needs.
