It's a good charger, but there aren't enough custom features for the money.

Obviously this is a quality charger that I expect will last for many years. However, it's expensive, so I expected a better "user experience". There are many programs for charging different types of batteries and rebuilding sulfated batteries, which is awesome. Accessing all of these programs is not intuitive. On the front there is a small "reference table", which is not exactly intuitive to use. The device really needs a small LCD to show you what it's doing and also to tell you the battery voltage. The fact that the $600 charger doesn't have this is disappointing. When I first turned on the charger to charge my first battery, I was surprised to find that after 24 hours it was still charging and hadn't finished charging. Concerned, I contacted tech support and they said they would "probably" rebuild the sulfated battery. As a result, the charge ended after about 4 days. I suspect he thought he needed to complete the 4 day recovery process. But it doesn't tell you anything about it - in fact, this device is just a black box that does what it wants without informing the user of anything. So you're wondering what he's doing. For 600€ I expect better. In short, the device clearly has a complex internal program that offers you many functions. But without user feedback, you just have to trust him to do the right thing, and you have no idea when he can finish his job.

Pros
  • Battery Restore - Automatically detects battery sulphation and acid stratification to restore lost battery power for stronger starting and longer battery life. In addition, advanced battery repair modes for 6V, 12V and 24V batteries.
Cons
  • Some flaws
