Cute but not that practical

So my wife and I think it looks nice (cute she says) but not very useful. Because it's so small, we put it on the smaller flame of the gas stove, otherwise it looks like the plastic handle is about to melt from the heat enveloping the body. This naturally cooks it slowly, so it's not ideal. Then when you pour hot water, due to the short spout and overall small size of the kettle, the steam gets too close to your fingers and scalds them. Cute but not practical! UPDATE: During the first week, some of the orange enamel chipped off the rim of the lid and settled inside the teapot. Glad I saw that while driving. Although we may have had a few tiny chips of enamel before I saw it. This is an unsafe design for something that will be used directly in food/drink preparation. And like others, we always have to use a hot pad when grabbing the handle. Didn't know it was so impractical.
