Review on Viotek GN32LD QHD 32 Inch Curved Gaming Monitor - 144Hz Refresh Rate, 2560X1440 Resolution, FreeSync and Anti-Glare Technology, Adjustable Stand, HDMI and DVI Input by John Stone

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Dead pixels but otherwise a great gaming monitor.

The original monitor has a dead pixel in the lower right corner of the screen, 1 total. The company offers a no dead pixel guarantee. So I ordered a replacement from Amazon, wondering what are the chances of the second monitor having dead pixels, and of course where there are 5 dead pixels. When unpacking, I made sure not to take the monitor by the sides so much so as not to damage it. So I put the 1st monitor back up and think I'll deal with 1 dead pixel on the side and bottom of the screen. The monitor is great for gaming, movies and web browsing which is what I use it for. It's very bright, I had to turn the brightness down from 90 to 70 or you'll be blinded when you open a web browser. The black is black and the colors are good, very accurate color reproduction. The picture is sharp, it's actually 1440p and looks good. I've bought other VA panels from other companies and have never had dead pixels let alone 5. Still haven't decided if it's worth sending in a third panel to see if I can finally get a monitor with Zero get dead pixels. Pixel Company Warranty. I'm always willing to try new companies as long as they validate what they say and have good customer service. I will change my rating unless I have dead pixels.
