The product is good, but needs improvement in many areas.

I bought this monitor earlier this year and overall I think it's a good product. However, I have to say that for the price I paid ($550), I wouldn't pay that price again. I would say $350-$400 is a good price. I feel like the price has more to do with the build quality than the features of the monitor itself. The stand is very solid, but it's huge and takes up so much desk space. I had to wall mount mine although I didn't want to just because the stand was huge. Also, the stand makes the monitor too tall, which was another reason for wall mounting. Last but not least, the monitor does not move on the stand. This is a permanent position. So I used a swiveling wall mount to move it to where I need it. As far as LED lighting goes, it's a gimmick at best. The LEDs are not bright enough to illuminate the wall behind or the table below. I often forget that there are LEDs behind them. There are no speakers, which is a shame, but there is an audio jack for installing speakers or headphones, which doesn't help at all, since all computers have their own sound card with connectors. So I'd rather connect it to a computer than a monitor. The monitor has a display port that also uses sound. So the fact that they have a displayport with no sound is just a waste of time. As for the screen size, I feel like they have distorted the truth. While the screen itself measures 32 inches with a thin bezel, there's a black bezel between the bezel and the screen that displays graphics. So it's actually less than 32 inches. Aside from the dimensions, there's no way to move the image around the screen to adjust the display or center the image. For example, the screen cuts off the right side of the Windows desktop. So at the bottom of the screen, on the far right, next to the clock, is a box that I usually press to switch between open apps. I don't see this little box on this monitor. However, I can see it on any other monitor. There is a way to resize the image on the screen, but you just can't move it because its center is fixed. If there was a way to keep the screen size but shift the image until it's exactly centered, I'd be happier. Now let's get to the good. Aside from the size of the stand, the overall build quality is really good. It feels solid and doesn't wobble. Colors, clarity and blacks look great. Viewing angles are good. They have been really good with the product. After testing, the 144Hz refresh rate is actually 144Hz. 2k resolution is also very good. I use a GTX 108ti as GPU. So the monitor works really well with the GPU. I also have an RTX 580 and had the same results. Even with VSync and GSync disabled, I never noticed any screen tearing in the games I played. Everything looks fantastic on this monitor. Games, Pictures and Movies. Also the ability to add a fixed crosshair in the center of the display is a bonus. Shooting from the hip really helps when playing online first person shooters like Battlefield. I just hate that games won't let me turn off their crosshairs since it's over the monitor's crosshairs when aiming. But that's not Viotex's problem, so it's not their fault. So I have to say that the electrical part of this product is perfect. Again, they really excelled. In summary we can say that this is a good product. Just not good enough for what I paid. If they added speakers, took advantage of the black area on the monitor and actually increased the image display to 32 inches, corrected the size of the stand, added the ability to move the monitor on the stand, made the LEDs brighter to illuminate the table, or wall behind and added the ability to move the image around the screen, I'd happily pay $550 for it, even if those upgrades are minor and don't cost much. Again, without all of this, max $350-$400.
