Revainrating 3 out of 5

Wow! Read the update if you have problems

So I'm a pretty decent player. A few years ago I bought an Asus mx279 1080p ips monitor. This year it was the top. I've had this monitor for about 5 years. I've heard of 1440p but never paid attention. I loved my monitor. So I updated all parts of my computer and that was it. Then I got interested in monitors. I wanted a 32" 1440p 144Hz curved monitor. When I found this at a price that compares to other monitors that cost $600 and up I was thrilled. Let me just say oh my god what a one damn difference.i notice a huge difference in everything i do.the quality from videos like game of thrones on hbo to pubg graphics codww2 bf1 and even rocket league!if you sit here and think about this monitor and want 1440p at 144hz look no further this is amazing stuff the only small issue that made me give it 4/5 stars is that i have 2 dead pixels out of the box when i contacted revain " they said i could return it and get a new one or get 25% off this one. Did i get 25% back for some dead pixels i hardly notice? Absolutely. I loved this monitor so much I got one have ordered another and he will arrive today! UPDATE 08/28/18. When I received my second monitor, I noticed that the entire corner of the shipping box was damp and soft, like the box was sitting. wet. I know he wasn't here because the box was only out for an hour and it was a beautiful sunny day with a temperature of 82 degrees. I was worried so when I opened the box the monitor box was ok but it was made out of sturdier cardboard. When I opened the box and started using the monitor I didn't have any dead pixels like my other one so that was a good thing. But after about 5 minutes of use, I got sporadic clicks on the screen. Like lines in the days of old tube televisions. So I hooked it up to my current monitor setup as I know my old one doesn't and it did the same thing so it was clear it was the monitor. I am now deducting 1 star as it was most likely not a manufacturing defect, just sloppy packaging. And the fact that I ordered two of these monitors and while they are cheaper and I like them, I would rather get another monitor for more money than have to deal with buying and returning them.
