Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Forged in Fire: Blacksmith Craft Dice Set for Dungeons & Dragons (DND) by Leroy Estell

Super nice dice! Great price for what you get.

I have three sets in three different colors: burnished bronze, mithril, and shimmering gold. These are very good dice, especially in this price range. In general, all three sets are of very good quality. They are standard sized, solid (metal) and their overall fit and finish reflect care and quality. The corners and points on all three of my sets are sharp as you would expect, but they have been machined so they are not the deadly dagger points you often find on metal bones. Measures have been taken to dull them sufficiently. All three sets look very, almost exactly like the pictures on Revane's website. It's not always like that. For them you can be sure that what you see is what you get. The Mithril set is perhaps my favorite of the three. It has a very pleasing slightly muted luster and the color of the metal is very light. It is a very apt name as I always thought of that level of colour/luster based on Tolkien's description of mithril. When in use, they are very easy to read, regardless of the room lighting. 100 rolls of d20 resulted in an average roll of 10.6, which I think is pretty fair. Shimmering Gold Set - They did a great job with this set to showcase aged gold without going overboard. This is a very rich looking gold with just the right amount of aging. In use, this set can be a bit difficult to read in low light, but will not cause any problems in a well-lit room. Burnished Bronze - This set differs slightly in design from the other three. There is a bit of what I would call gilding around the edges. This, combined with the antique look, gives this set a very rustic and rough look that lends itself very well to a fantasy RPG setting. In use, this set can be very difficult to read, even in good lighting conditions.
