Great idea, but the probe stopped working after four hours.
Great idea but the sensor stopped working after 4 or 5 uses and the warranty has expired so it will not be replaced. Had to spend $25 for a new probe. I used it less than 10 times for a few years after that and then it came out again and showed 150F no matter what I did to it. I'm willing to classify this as "garbage". I'll look around for another brand.
