Review on 🔌 iKKEGOL OBD2 OBDII 1 to 3 Ultra Low Profile 16 Pin Male to Female Y Splitter Cord Diagnostic Extension Cable (20 inches/50cm) by Terry Herrera

I got this to log data on my car and keep the ODB2 key installed. The ODB2 interfaces I have are always on and don't seem to sleep and turn off when I turn off the device and I was worried they would drain my lightweight mini battery. I disabled the dongle when not in use but was concerned about excessive wear on the ODB2 port. With this I can easily disable them if I don't log in. It's also a hidden mount so I'm not worried about banging my knee against the port. I wish the switches were color coded, sometimes it's hard to find the right switch under the dash. To fix this, I attached different colored zip ties to each switch. I was concerned that the wire gauge on this extension cord was too thin. Also, I don't think all ODB2 pins are extended by this cable. (Other extension cords clearly show that all wires are extended for ease of connection.) Luckily this was **NOT** a problem when this cord was used for registration or reprogramming. I was even able to use 2 devices at the same time without any noticeable problems. (Logging only, I'm more careful when writing to PCM due to locking issues)
