These hooks are very useful for loosening stuck radiator hoses in the car, especially in hard-to-reach places. Neither the hose nor the fitting underneath will be damaged. They are very durable, with soft touch handles and a thick chrome finish. I assume they will last a long time. Because of the thickness of the metal, they don't do as well on small hoses like fuel lines and transmission cooler hoses, but aren't as difficult to remove as radiator and heater hoses. . Definitely a worthwhile addition to your toolbox!
