I wish I had invented them, they are amazing! I've used mine on a Subaru with a crush washer instead of a fiber washer with no problems. Installation takes the same amount of time as installing an oil pan plug but saves me the time of using EVERY tool for my next oil change. It also saves the time required to check the cone seal for leaks at every oil change, ie idle and check, drive and check. I don't have to stock up on pucks either. Overall it's not a huge time saver, but it's very handy because it reduces the number of steps required to change the oil in my car. For those who don't have a garage at home for daily vehicle maintenance, I appreciate the convenience of this valve.
