My application for a 2005 Chevy Silverado 5.3L V8 with a 145A alternator. I had 70,000 miles when I started getting a squeak that matched my engine RPM. I thought my water pump bearings were gone but I thought - let's try replacing the belts first as they are almost 10 years old and it's time to change them. Well, my squeak is gone. This belt is easy to install and excellent quality. On the Silverado, make sure you have a 145 amp alternator and not a 105 amp. It should be stamped on the side, but you may need a flashlight to see it. I almost missed mine. You can also find it by the glove box code. Definitely a great belt so far and I would buy it again but I am now hoping this belt will outlast the truck.
