An amazing learning tool for kids. As others have said I've taken my 5 year old 3 times, only hassled by the tow lines and held between my legs and he couldn't help but figure out how to make a pizza and walk down the hill on his own. Put them on and for the first time he makes great pizza pans and walks down the hill by himself. If you haven't bought this yet, there are two caveats to keep in mind: (1) the plastic, if you slide on it, it can break easily - we've used it 3 times and broke one of the clips at the very top of the locking handle when it came over my skiing drove. But it still works fine. (2) The way it grips the ski easily damages the base of the ski - it leaves metallic grip marks on the end of the skis, but if you like me and buy used skis you should know this after you've read these a few Once used you are ready to go.
