A must have for beginners/beginner kids

These items were amazing. I took my 6 year old and 3 year old kids skiing for the first time and the second day they were able to ski down rabbit hill. The two key components were those clips and the attached backpack. The harness allowed me to control their speed and help them get on and off the chairlift. The clamps were designed to just clear the snow or keep the skis parallel. I've seen a few other parent-child combos with just harnesses, but children often lose control when their ends fall

Worth the price. Lifeguard learn to ski!

An amazing learning tool for kids. As others have said I've taken my 5 year old 3 times, only hassled by the tow lines and held between my legs and he couldn't help but figure out how to make a pizza and walk down the hill on his own. Put them on and for the first time he makes great pizza pans and walks down the hill by himself. If you haven't bought this yet, there are two caveats to keep in mind: (1) the plastic, if you slide on it, it can break easily - we've used it 3 times and broke oneโ€ฆ

I used this plug with my 5 year old twins and love it!

I have twins aged 5 (boy and girl). I originally ordered one pink and one blue (for obvious reasons) :) But I only got pink. I was concerned that my son would have problems but luckily there were no problems as he didn't know there were other options. :) This ski tip connector is AWESOME! I've used it in addition to the Lucky Bums harness (which is great too, especially the handle. We no longer use a leash but keep the harness because the handle makes it easy to pick up our kids if they fall or

A MUST for kids

This product is brilliant. I have 4 year old twins who ride two different levels and I can safely say none of them go anywhere without these clips. Background: My one kid is braver and has been skiing since he was 2 (half his life!), while another more cautious kid just started skiing this year. Our beginner pizza flies down the slope while the more advanced weave between people deftly without parental help. My beginner kid uses them along with the Lucky Bums backpack system (another must have)

  • An absolute legend

1st set broken hoping for 2nd

EDIT - Launch Pad contacted me, they claim the Revain comms don't always go through. I will agree with them when in doubt as they are easy to work with since contacting them. I have upgraded my rating to 3 stars in anticipation of using the product again. They replaced Wedgease and I look forward to trying them again this season. I really hope I have better luck than the first set and now I can say that their customer service is reliable. I intend to update this when I have more time with them.

Wedgease/Hookease: Teaching kids ages 7, 5 & 3 to ski

Very happy with Wedgease. I have just taken twins aged 7, 5 and 3 to the slopes. Bought two hookeases (see another Launch Pad product of the same name) and a couple of wedgeases for less than $150. Saved over $500 a day on group classes - and who knows how many days of training it would take to make that progress. I lost a day or two skiing personally but was able to spend extra time with the kids in a learning environment that was actually mostly enjoyable. The Hookeases were the main forceโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
