Review on Samsung 870 QVO 2TB SSD: Superior SATA III 2.5" Storage (MZ-77Q2T0B) by Mark Jefferson

Works best on my PS4 in internal SSDs

Having recently bought a Playstation 4 Slim, I quickly realized the storage dilemma. I've read that PS4s "officially" support up to 2TB, but people have been able to use SSDs with much more storage. Since a 6TB SSD costs more than the new PS4 Pro, I went with the 4TB and hoped for the best. Bottom line, it works fantastic and loading times are almost a thing of the past. I'm pretty sure I'll have enough space for all the PS4 games I want, as I'm more of a PS1 and PS2 fan at heart and they take up MUCH less space. very thin so you have to keep it in a basket to hang the screws. Importantly, it's not plug-and-play with PS4. I was able to pop the new SSHD into my fat PS3 and the UI still worked and the update file re-downloaded by itself. PS4 absolutely does not work with just a new disc, you need to download the update file from the official Playstation website and save it to a flash drive ("PS4” folder, "UPDATE” subfolder, otherwise the file will not be found) and install it Recreate the entire UI from there. Luckily, my system settings were saved under my PSN ID so I didn't have to redo them. After all this process, however, no problems.
