As already mentioned, the instructions are nonsense. The attached photos do not help. I installed it in a couple of hours, trying to follow the instructions and using some YouTube videos as well. Overall it's ok, but even though I locked it when I changed the hinges, it still sags a bit when unlocking. When you open the tailgate it drops a little, maybe 1/8-1/4 inch, and when you close it has to be lifted a bit to hit the latch. more say I use a 117lb tire and rim. Maxxis Razr Mt 35x12.5 r17 with a 17x9.5 Rhino Black Armory rim. The weight limit is said to be 135lb so I'm a little shy. I'll keep an eye on it and if it sags more I'll update my review. Like I said, it's not bad, but I was expecting a little more. If it doesn't sag anymore, I'm satisfied. Edit 10/23/20: The tailgate doesn't sag, but I had this annoying rattle from the tailgate. The instructions don't mention this, but you must remove both rubber bumpers. It's clear in the pictures but not in the written instructions. Also youtube videos don't help with this as some leave it on others take it off. Do you use my left bumper or leave it on and stabilize the tire? When I installed I left mine on the left because the instructions were unclear. The tire was tight and there were no problems for several days before the annoying noise started. The solution: I put a rubber grommet between the bumper and tire that fits snugly, and another between the tire and third light mount and the problem is solved. My rating for the product remains the same due to additional work on my part to resolve the issue.
