Specifically looking for a simple watch for cycling and running. I just wanted to keep track of distance and pace and not have my phone with me. I didn't want to buy a fancy watch and pay way more for features I don't need. So I was very happy that I found such a simple watch - everyone else has a lot of bells and whistles. I figured the difference in price was down to a few features and a simple design (I actually like the old-style text display ;-)). Unfortunately, clocks are so cheap that they only tell the time. When I first tried this I waited 5 minutes for the GPS to work and then just walked without it. When I called support they said there were probably too many tall buildings in the way. I was on the beach next to the Atlantic and maybe 3 houses nearby. Her advice was to keep trying in more remote areas. Then I started to travel. I tried the watch in the mountains, on another beach and on the street - there are few houses everywhere. The GPS has never worked for me. A close friend has one of these whimsical watches and runs around New York City, only getting knocked over by buildings a couple of times. New York! I've never walked anywhere with as many buildings as New York. Now I'm stuck on this junk as the return date passed during my trip. If you don't like the design and don't want to wear it as a fashion accessory, you don't need this watch.
