Unlike Minwax or Bondo epoxy wood repair putty which cures very quickly, Woody's gives you plenty of time to apply and work with your mixed putty. "Detalization". The downside is that Woody's takes a little longer to get ready for sanding and painting. In a recent project I used all three products. I found that once mixed into a hardener, Minwax and Bondo set so quickly that I had to work with them quickly and often felt too rushed. More than once the putty hardened before I could fully apply it (even when working in small batches). With that in mind I would say that Minwax and Bondo products are great for minor repairs or other situations where you can apply material quickly. The fact that both materials are ready for sanding and painting in under an hour means you can make and complete that particular repair in half a day. I would say Woody's is best when repairs are larger, more complex or for some reason require a little more time and effort to apply and shape the material. Another thing to watch out for when using Woody's is that you need to be careful about mixing almost equal parts of a two-part product. If you have too much of one part and not enough of the other, it won't adjust properly.
