Review on πŸ”§ Woodworking BINSTAK Router Bit Tools for Spoilboard Surfacing and Flattening by Michael Skerving

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Save time and replaceable blades.

I was skeptical about planing oak and spruce boards. Beautifully cut. Using smaller bits was trying my patience. The rounded cutting surface accelerates the process exponentially. The finish is pretty smooth. Sometimes I get small chips and you see a flat pass line on the back edge. grinding control. I limit each pass to 1/8 inch otherwise my underpowered router will be taxed. I hit the metal clip and damaged the two cutting blades. Removing and rotating was easy. Good thing they didn't replace the whole piece. Balance is good but there is noticeable vibration with my smaller 2" bit. A word of caution... As many of you know, burr injuries are serious, not cuts and stabs, more like a flail and amputation. be very careful Large size and all that swirling energy can get away from you with disastrous results. Safety first!
