Lots of features. and a HUGE issue

oh my god. I hate giving one star reviews and rarely do. But this tripod has a very serious disadvantage. It's so serious that I'm keeping the ball head and monopod but throwing away the rest of the tripod. Attributes: Thumbs up. It has a host of features including a retractable center stand for extra height, easy open/close latches for leg extensions, a leg that converts into a monopod, ample bubble levels, a secure ball head, an optional wrist strap, and a center stand hook for extra weight.Build Quality: Meh. It seems lightweight but doesn't feel solid or trustworthy, even if it doesn't have a major flaw. For example, my carbon fiber tripods are only slightly lighter, but they are much stronger and stiffer. There are two physical downsides, and both relate to the detachable monopod. The first disadvantage is that the leg of the monopod is slightly longer than the other two legs. So when all legs are fully extended, the tripod's center post will be noticeably off-center (not vertical if the tripod is on a flat, level surface). Angle Bar Legs: Thumbs down. This is the second of the two disadvantages mentioned. But this is VERY serious. The lock on the leg of the monopod, which allows you to adjust the desired angle, does not work. The latches on the other two legs work, but they still wobble and don't feel finished and secure. The latch on the monopod leg has a faulty spring mechanism, meaning it won't snap and stay in place when you take your thumb off the latch. You cannot be sure that the tripod leg will stay in place. It can easily collapse on its own, taking your gear to the ground with it. I understand there are probably many devices that have walked out the door without this critical error. But if there is an issue in the design/manufacturing process that causes fatal errors, I have to give the product an Failing grade.
