Not as hard as I'd like
I've made burgers with this 3 or 4 times. It works as intended, personally I would like something heavier, more restaurant type. Although I like it (and because I bought it), it's round, not rectangular. In general I am satisfied with the purchase. The handle stays cool (warms up but doesn't get hot when placed on the stove) and is easy to clean in the dishwasher. Overall I would recommend.
