The fuel gauge on the dashboard has not worked for a few years. When we filled the tank up, the gauge showed empty. After 40 km the sensor worked again. Our main relay failed and we had to repair cold soldering. After this repair it seemed that the fuel pump was pumping poorly. Ordered with fuel pump. I was able to remove and replace the fuel pump in less than 1 hour. It was very easy to measure the width of the ring and tighten the screws to hold it in place. I used an adapter with my 1/2" breaker to remove the snap ring. After installing the fuel pump and installing the snap ring by hand, this made it easier to tighten the snap ring. The fuel gauge on the dash is working again. Your van has one too no problems starting.
