Remove and install serrated fuel tank retaining rings that hold the pump module inside the tank. Fully adjustable feet fit both inside and outside grip retaining rings from 3 in. to 7-1/4 in. Provides a secure fit that wont slip or fall off a wide range of vehicles with in-tank fuel pumps. Use with both 3/8 in. and 1/2 in drive ratchets, adapter included. Applications include Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Chrysler, and some Asian vehicles.

waste of money! on parts

Wrong size for 2017 Mustang. waste of money. Measure the locking ring and then find a suitable wrench. Do not use the phrase "Ford fuel pump wrench". However, it was well built.

Good tool for the right job.

I bought this tool to make it easier to remove and install the fuel pump retaining cap on some vehicle manufacturers' fuel tanks. Reliable hits with large adjustable pliers.

The fuel gauge on the dashboard has not worked for a few years. When we filled the tank up, the gauge showed empty. After 40 km the sensor worked again. Our main relay failed and we had to repair cold soldering. After this repair it seemed that the fuel pump was pumping poorly. Ordered with fuel pump. I was able to remove and replace the fuel pump in less than 1 hour. It was very easy to measure the width of the ring and tighten the screws to hold it in place. I used an adapter with my 1/2"…
