CHECK BEFORE USE ON THE STREET: These skates are for business! In other words, it runs smoothly and is ready to use. I didn't have to loosen the wheels like I had to with my sons heavy skates. They are light and I find that makes them easy to ride. I will change tires over time. As you can see I have zebra laces and protective toe pads that take these skates a step above the base black. I'm not new to figure skating, I'm part of the culture (80's). UPDATE 1 FOR TROTOUR/TROTOUR RIDING: TRYED THE EVENING AT THE PARK AND MADE IT JUST AROUND THE BLOCK BACK TO MY HOUSE. LEFT STOP RELEASED WHEN RELEASING THE BRAKE TO CROSS THE STREET / NUT BROKEN IN FRAME, COULD NOT STOP. Thank God my son was with me. I RECEIVED THIS TODAY JULY 19TH AND THE LEFT SHOE IS INVALID WITHOUT CORK (VIDEO VERIFICATION). IN THE BACKGROUND MY SON CAN BE HEARED SAYING THAT I RUN AWAY. I literally fell down. SKATES ARE GENERALLY SLIPPER ON COVERED, PANEWAYS AND OUTDOORS. NO PROBLEM WITH IT. I NEED A NEW PAIR OF SKATES, THEY WERE BROKEN 🤦. AMAZON HAS REPLACED THE SKATES, I WILL REPEAT THIS REVIEW AFTER MORE TRYING WITH THIS BRAND, I WILL REPLACE THE STOPS AND WHEELS.
