Unless you are tuning the engine, exhaust, etc., always use genuine parts whenever possible.
The genuine part is cheaper than any other aftermarket part and the service has been excellent. Simply enter your VIN and your Ford dealer will make sure you get the correct part. No other parts dealer can do this as only Ford has this information. I used to be a mechanic and when we could get OEM parts for the same price or a little more we always made sure they met the 'manufacturers' quality standards; there is a difference.
