Functionality for Power Tools and Hand Tools

Media failed to load. Pros: Large heavy duty saws Cons: Slow chewing Shank is not centered What I got in the package: 1 x UZERDO Concrete Hole Saw Set 1 x Metal Body This UZERDO Concrete Hole Saw Set comes with 5 Concrete Hole Saws and an SDS Plus Shank . The hole sizes are as follows: 1 1/2" 2 1/2" 3 1/8" 4" 5" The cutter heads are made of YG8 grade suitable for drilling cement, brick and similar materials The instruments come in a soft lined metal case for storage and durability. When I received it I couldn't believe how heavy it was. I was expecting a standard set of hole saws. These are powerful saws for jobs of 1 1/2" 2" to 5" and will cut through concrete with ease. The entire set, including the case, weighs approximately 9.88 pounds. During my testing, I had a broken PVC irrigation line and wanted to be able to drill a hole to work on it access, and connect a new line without having to damage too much of the surrounding area. The hole saw cut through the concrete to a depth of about 2" in about 6 minutes, which was fine for my needs. That's about 1" every 3 minutes what for this Kind of saw that cuts slowly anyway, is a bit slow. I used my DeWalt 18v cordless hammer drill and it had enough power to get this saw working at the depth I needed. Of course it could be faster if I used a more powerful corded punch. The drill held well and the saw was undamaged apart from losing some of its finish. The shaft is not perfectly aligned. As a result, as the drill bit rotates, the holding saw wobbles slightly from side to side. At first I thought it was a little, but after testing it turned out to be a few different exercises. This is a shank. Although it didn't cause any problems for my little job. I could see how this can cause binding issues on large holes. But I would only swap the shaft. One downside to this set is that it doesn't have pilot holes on the underside of the saw or a collar/bolt on the adapter. The saw is thus pulled up to the mandrel. This makes it difficult to remove the saw from the stock. In fact, they're both relatively sleek, so it's difficult to find a good spot to attach a wrench to take them apart. Because I didn't want to use my teeth as leverage. I placed the adapter in a vise and used a long screwdriver and pry bar to separate them. Not perfect. I could not find a guarantee in either the product information or the product description. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all, this seems like a decent saw so far. For the price I expected more. The best shank for one that is centered and has a better mechanism to more easily detach the hole saw from the shank. While it did the work I needed, I'm not sure I want to select this setting again. I hope this information was helpful. [3 Stars] This product is made in China.
