Review on Lisle 81100 TP55 Torx Plus Bit Socket: Superior Quality and Efficient Performance by Tay Fair

The factory sealed packaging was marked as a TP55 TORX Plus bit. Not what was in the bag.

The factory sealed packaging was marked as a TP55 TORX Plus bit. Now I've done my homework and everything I've read says I need this for my newly purchased Ford E150 Econoline. I am removing the rear seat so of course you need special tools/bits to unbolt it from the van floor, it's a Ford so what else to expect. Imagine my surprise when the torx bit I took out of my pocket was too big to fit the screws that hold the seat rails in place. After a few words of choice and double checking my original Youtube videos. Yes, that should have been the right thing. So, out of frustration with the scissors and the significantly more money, I immediately ordered a complete set of Torx Plus bits. comes on TP50. Thought if my 55 was a bit too big, the TP50 would have to fit. Well the full kit arrived today and I gave the TP50 a try right away. surprise, too small. After a few more choice words, I revisited the original piece. TP55. You have to look VERY closely because you can hardly see it on the flat black nozzle. surprisingly it is TP60. IN THE FACTORY THEY PUT THE BAG IN THE WRONG SIZE. This is not Revain's fault, but the manufacturer/supplier should be informed. It took me almost a week and now I have to order it again. Hopefully that wasn't a big problem and I got another TP60 in a TP55 bag. I understand mistakes happen, but this was EXTREMELY frustrating. NEVER THINK A BAG IS WHAT THE LABEL SAYS.

Pros

Cons
