saw this a while ago and thought psh I can make this out of pvc pipe for $0.30. We will, I've never tried it and just bought it for $7. I thought it was PVC but it's actually thin plastic. But I'm glad because, like mine with the hinges, the PVC wouldn't fit over it like that and slide up. Flexibility is required. Now it's not as easy as shown in the video. It kind of binds when you move it, maybe because my hinges are close to the wall door frame, I don't know. But it seemed to work fine. It spattered a little on the sides so I still had to wipe the door but obviously better than without. It's also nice that it has a hard bottom so all the oil goes in there instead of dripping down. Overall a good idea, maybe not worth $7 for the $0.20 but I'll use that!
