A broken clip holding the on/off switch was found on this item. The switch has been pushed into the case so it's only accessible if you remove the case. So I did. When I did this I noticed that the wiring was a bit lazy going in and out of the switch. Maybe because it was broken, or maybe because that's how it was assembled. I cannot judge this effect. I stripped and reconnected a new piece of wire and it works fine. I also checked all other connections and everything else seemed fine. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase but not happy with it. I was expecting a little more staying power. If you connect and can't solve such problems, I wouldn't recommend it just based on my experience; However, I was able to fix it and get it working for my needs.
